A beautifully handwoven set of placemats made from seagrass. These are a lovely way to dress your table for everyday dining or layer them up with your other tableware for an amazing look for special occasions. The large spiral of seagrass twists is interlaced with a delicate and organic zigzag of natural taupe cotton threads to secure the mat and create an intricate design effect.
Each one measures approx 35cm in diameter and approx 0.5cm thick.
Please note: These are handwoven from a natural material so minor variances in size and colouring may be evident and shouldn't be considered a flaw.

Seagrass can lose shape in transit from the factory or through use in your home. To reshape them, simply steam or lightly wet and reshape with your hands. Then place in the sun or a warm place to dry quickly. This can be done whenever needed throughout the life of the basket.
